Caitlin Likens is a freelance illustrator, sequential artist, and photographer. Her projects often include logo design, cover art, character design, scientific illustration, comic book illustration, and commissioned art.
Caitlin received her BFA in Sequential Art with a concentration in Scientific Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2013. Her coursework included: Storyboarding and Character Design for Animation, Intro to Scientific Illustration, Photography for Scientific Illustration, Dynamic Visualization for Scientific Illustration, Constructive Dinosaur Anatomy, Constructive Animal Anatomy, Conceptual Illustration, and Electronic Illustration.
In 2012 she had photos exhibited as part of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators Conference in Savannah, GA. In the spring of 2011, she studied abroad in Lacoste, France where she had two gallery showings.
In addition to her degree from SCAD Likens has four years of classical fine art training in the European academic tradition.
Caitlin lives with her fur children: two cats Hank and Daisy. When not working or traveling, she enjoys many outdoor activities and binge watching Netflix.
